Located a few miles east of the University of South Florida, Islamic Community of Tampa (ICT) has a rich history and tradition that spans more than half a century.
The community has played an essential role in the growth of Muslims throughout the Temple Terrace area.
Today, The Islamic Community of Tampa continues to serve Tampa through dedicated community outreach that encourages trust and understanding with our fellow Tampa residents. ICT is currently initiating a fund-raising drive to complete construction and smooth out our mosque.
Islamic Community of Tampa is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to serving the religious, social and educational needs of the local Muslim American community in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah.
We call forth all Muslims to set the highest standard as concerned citizens devoted to ethical behavior and justice for all; ideals that can be achieved by uniting and collectively holding on to the rope of Allah (God Almighty); the Qur’an. We recognize that this will entail a constant struggle to become that middle nation, which is constantly striving to uphold the good whenever it is encountered and forbidding the evil wherever it may reside. With Allah’s help, the community is determined to forge ahead towards the future with the same determination and energy that has defined our more than a half-century of history.
