The Islamic Community of Tampa (ICT) is a vibrant, active masjid of over 400 families from the Tampa Bay area. Established in 1992, the ICT is not only a place of worship but rather a community center for the Muslim population where they can gather to live and learn in an environment of brotherhood and faith. In times of trouble the Islamic Community of Tampa is there to offer monetary and social support.

Also the Islamic Community of Tampa is an active organization that get together with other Muslims and Non-Muslims organizations to make Tampa Bay better place for everybody.

•  ADMINISTRATION

The Islamic Community of Tampa is administered by a board of directors and a full-time Imam. The Board of the Islamic Community of Tampa is comprised of nine committed volunteers who serve two-year terms as decided by an election every two years. The current president isBr. Zaid Nofal.

•  IMAM

Al-Qassam  currently has one full time Imam Ahmed Abu-Sharaf, he is a graduate of Islamic University at Madinah, and  have many activities during the week, for ICT.
